Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on operations, including the setup, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare buffers/media in accordance with defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
- Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols while following all relevant documentation.
- Monitor and perform critical processes, demonstrating basic troubleshooting skills.
- Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
- Carry out washroom activities to clean both small-scale and large-scale equipment used in production.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace within a clean room environment, adhering to strict gowning and safety requirements.
- Initiate quality deviation records and assist in drafting and revising documents (SOPs, MPs).
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to routine functions.
- Review documentation for assigned functions, including batch records.
- Engage in rigorous, repetitive work, and work safely around high-pressure systems and heavy equipment.
- Be available to work various shifts (Days, Swings, Graves, Weekends, Holidays), including 5x8hrs, 4x10hrs, and 3 or 4x12hrs, as dictated by the production schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, OR Associate’s degree with 4 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively in teams and complete operational tasks.
- Strong adherence to following documents and policies.
- Initiative in creating a positive work environment through collaborative interactions.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull objects requiring up to 50 lbs. of force, with the capacity to stand for extended periods.
- Capability to perform physical movements necessary for daily functions on the production floor, including bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and standing on ladders.
