LA Semiconductor is looking to hire Manufacturing Technicians to support operations at our Pocatello, ID semiconductor fabrication plant! Our products are found in popular high-tech devices, drones, automotive rear-view cameras, gaming systems, medical devices, and even self-driving cars!

  • Enjoy working together with equipment technicians (mechanics who are charged with maintenance), process technicians (fix any defects in the wafers), engineers, and managers to produce the highest quality product.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating manufacturing tools to process high-quality products.
  • Working in a self-directed work team environment to achieve daily goals.
  • Interfacing with computer systems to perform job duties.
  • Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and programs.


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and frequently move it over extended distances
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Comfortable working with and around chemicals (safety training is provided)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
  • Unrestricted right to work in the United States


Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Work Schedule: Our manufacturing site is a 24/7 facility. Our operators work 12-hour shifts.


$17/hr. - Day Shift

$19.55/hr. - Night Shift


Shift A: Sunday - Tuesday; Every other Wednesday 6:45am - 7pm

Shift C: Thursday-Saturday; Every other Wednesday 6:45am 7pm

Shift B: Sunday-Tuesday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am

Shift D: Wednesday-Friday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
