Responsibilities
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our dynamic team. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership to drive operational excellence and meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing team, including operations manager, supervisors, and production staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiencies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Eng., R&D, Supply Chain) to support product development and launch.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that we meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resource Allocation:
- Manage workforce scheduling, materials, and equipment to optimize production flow and minimize downtime.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and progress on improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and support company objectives.
- Safety Management:
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management or a related role, with a proven track record of leading teams and improving processes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality control methodologies, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with experience in using ERP and manufacturing software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

California pay range: MIN $148,000- MAX $246,000.
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program.
