Pennant Solutions Group has multiple Manufacturing Engineer openings ranging from L2, L3 and Senior. This Manufacturing Engineer supports designs throughout the design-development cycle and into production, emphasizing design producibility, manufacturing process development and support, while overseeing the transition of products to production, including follow-on support. The manufacturing engineering role is crucial in developing manufacturing methods, work instructions, and production line operations to ensure that product quality is integrated into the final product. The Manufacturing Engineer II position focuses on supporting engineering and manufacturing activities while continuing to build essential skills and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Includes Manufacturing Engineering I duties and responsibilities
• Integral part of the product design team and provides DFMA input
• Validates and monitors fabrication and production processes and controls
• Designs, develops, and implements various fixtures, tools, and inspection gauges to facilitate fabrication and assembly
• Generates, tracks, and maintains bills of materials for assemblies, methods of manufacture, and work/build instructions
• Instrumental in material and resource planning, coordinating with the Product team to ensure schedules are met
• Assists with planning manufacturing workflow and space requirements
• Solves technical problems utilizing technical reference materials and various inspection tools and techniques
• Supports or may lead prototype builds and evaluations of materials and processes
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent degree
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude required; hands-on engineering experience in a fabrication and assembly shop environment is desired
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
