Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Financial Analyst or Principal Manufacturing Financial Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Sunnyvale, CA in support of the Columbia Dreadnought Launcher Production (CDLP) Program and other Launcher Programs.
What You'll get to Do:
The Manufacturing Financial Analyst oversees and manages the financial and operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between manufacturing and other functional organizations such as program management, quality and supply chain. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers.
Core responsibilities include:
- Track and manage the costs and performance of the program.
- Be responsible for the compliance to all financial tracking processes such as formal and informal EVMS systems.
- Support program proposal development by gathering and organizing data and preparing cost estimates.
- Identifying / managing issues and risks in a timely manner.
- Support internal and external customer meetings and IPTs.
- Support review sessions with project teams to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance.
This is a dual level req and can be filled as a Manufacturing Financial Analyst or a Principal Manufacturing Financial Analyst.
Basic Qualifications Manufacturing Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related experience; Master's Degree with 1+ years of related experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with budget management, cost and schedule performance, and financial data analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working level knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications Principal Manufacturing Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of related experience; Master's Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with budget management, cost and schedule performance, and financial data analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working level knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current CAM/EVMS experience within the Navy DoD sector.
- Advanced Excel and data trend analysis experience.
- Ability to manage Microsoft Project schedules.
Salary Range: $70,200 - $105,200
Salary Range 2: $86,300 - $129,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
