Description: Full Time Custodian
Location: District Wide
Schedule: 189 work day calendar - 4 day week
Salary: Starting salary is $18.04 per hour - 9 hours/day
Benefits: Eligible for PERA Retirement Plan
Sick/Personal days earned at 1 day for every 18 days worked
Full-Time employees are eligible for the District Benefit Package (Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance)

Qualifications: Must be able to meet and maintain daily cleaning schedule. Must be in good physical health and be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to read and understand basic operating instructions, Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with staff. First Aid and CPR Certificate or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities: Check for maintenance problems, check inventory, and give to proper personnel. Let other shift custodians know of any new changes or tasks that need to be performed. Keep equipment clean and inventory checked. Let Director know of problems. Clean buildings as directed by Custodial Director (including restrooms) to maintain a safe, healthy, attractive, and efficient school environment. Make minor building repairs as needed and directed. Clean walks and school grounds and parking lots as assigned by Custodial Director. Assist in installing items such as bulletin boards, chalk boards, cabinets, etc. Clean restrooms and replenish supplies. Assist with determination and completion of minor repairs, remodels, etc. as directed by Custodial Director.
