Duties ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sweeps and mops floors and stairs; Vacuums, cleans, and shampoos carpets; Strips and waxes floors. Cleans bathrooms (toilets, sinks, floors, countertops, walls, mirrors) and light fixtures; Replaces and changes supplies in the bathroom; Washes glass doors and windows; Washes out trash bins; Takes out trash and changes liners; Collects recycling. Wipes down walls, blinds, and woodwork; Checks and light bulbs; Turns off lights. Checks and maintains inventory of cleaning supplies in storage area. Makes minor and light repairs as needed; Sets up and breaks down chairs and tables for meetings and events. OTHER FUNCTIONS:Other related duties as assigned.Qualifications Valid Ohio Driver's LicenseHigh School Diploma or EquivalentQUALIFICATIONS:3-5 years custodial or environmental engineer experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of chemicals and MSDS; Ability to repair and maintain cleaning equipment (sweepers, steam cleaners...); Knowledge of alarm systems and shutoff locations and procedures for building water, gas, and electrical shut offs.**Developed after employment. Supplemental Information WORKING CONDITIONS:Works indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to inclement weather. Risk of injury or exposure to contagious diseases or chemicals is minimal when proper safety procedures are followed.Working hours are 7:00am-4:00pm.
