Custodian C Job at Tikigaq Corporation in Alamogordo

REQUISITES:

Will perform general cleaning and custodial functions at assigned facility. May be required to direct the work of lower level Custodian. Employee will be required to perform the following: Clean and supply restrooms, showers, locker rooms, lunchrooms, offices, and related facilities. Sweep, strip, scrub, mop, wax, polish concrete, linoleum, tile, and wood floors. Vacuum, shampoo rugs and carpets. Clean walls, furniture, windows, woodwork, and equipment. Pick up papers and debris. Dusts furniture, empty trash receptacles, refill paper/soap dispensers. The employee must be able to operate equipment such as vacuums, floor cleaning and polishing machines, and scrubbers and make minor non-technical repairs as needed. May deliver supplies and equipment from one site to another or perform escort duties for vendors while on site. Individual will be required to inventory cleaning supplies and materials and make requests for needed supplies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess a High School Diploma/GED and one (1) year of work related experience is required. Knowledge related to modern cleaning methods, materials, tools, and equipment and the safe use and operation of equipment and chemicals used in janitorial and custodial work.

OTHER:

Must acquire and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Must possess a valid driver's license. Shift work may be required. Working at diverse and isolated locations is required.
