Job Summary: Performing all maintenance and custodial upkeep, including all general repairs necessary to maintaining the physical school plant and grounds in excellent operating condition.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Vaild Drivers License
  • Knowledge of methods, procedures, materials, and equipment necessary for work involved in building maintenance
  • Five years of related experience
  • Valid New Jersey Black Seal License for boiler operation or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Conducts a general program of maintenance
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and products
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
  • Ability to use technology for work order maintenance systems
  • Willingness to attend professional development
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of plant operation and maintenance, cleaning methods and procedures, heating and ventilation, proper handling of hazardous materials

Working Conditions: 12 month position, Salary as per Negotiated Contract
