Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct industrial cleaning duties as needed, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris.
• Buff floors and perform floor care maintenance to keep surfaces looking their best.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Carry out custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as required.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized properly.
• Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff.
• Maintain a professional appearance while on duty and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with buffing equipment and floor care techniques is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and safety practices is a plus, painting, building racks, or even setting up the tables for certain occasions, and experience with forklift sit down.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
