Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our engineering and design teams to grasp project requirements and translate them into CAD SolidWorks designs.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D models for welding and fabrication projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with specifications.
• Assist in the development of technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to support our fabrication team.
• Utilize CAD SolidWorks to design parts, welding jigs, fixtures, and templates for streamlined production processes.
• Aid in prototype development, making necessary design adjustments as part of the learning process.
• Collaborate in conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulations to assess design performance and structural integrity.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in all designs.
• Provide technical support to fabricators and welders during the fabrication process.
• Maintain organized CAD files and documentation with a focus on version control.
• Stay updated on the latest CAD SolidWorks features and techniques to enhance productivity.

Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in various types of CAD software, with a focus on SolidWorks, and a willingness to learn and grow in the software.
• Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes is a plus but not required.
• Ability to comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.
• Eagerness to learn industry standards and safety regulations related to welding and fabrication.
