The Sports Principal will play a pivotal role in driving client satisfaction, business development, and project success within the sports sector. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the architecture industry, sports facility design, and client relationship management. Your Impact:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the sports industry.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and feedback sessions to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sports sector.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategic business development plans.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the firm's services and capabilities.
Project Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of sports facility projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of client engagement professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Ensure that team members are aligned with the firm's goals and objectives and are effectively supporting client engagement efforts.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's strategic goals and initiatives within the sports sector.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on opportunities for growth and improvement.
Here's What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in client engagement, business development, or project management within the architecture or sports facility design industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sports facility design and construction processes.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
