The Sports Principal will play a pivotal role in driving client satisfaction, business development, and project success within the sports sector. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic and experienced professional with a deep understanding of the architecture industry, sports facility design, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully engaging with clients, managing complex projects, and leading cross-functional teams.

Your Impact:

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients in the sports industry.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  3. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and feedback sessions to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Business Development:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sports sector.
  2. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategic business development plans.
  3. Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the firm's services and capabilities.

Project Oversight:

  1. Oversee the planning, design, and execution of sports facility projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.

Team Leadership:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of client engagement professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  2. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
  3. Ensure that team members are aligned with the firm's goals and objectives and are effectively supporting client engagement efforts.

Strategic Planning:

  1. Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's strategic goals and initiatives within the sports sector.
  2. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  3. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on opportunities for growth and improvement.

Here's What You'll Need:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in client engagement, business development, or project management within the architecture or sports facility design industry.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering complex projects.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. In-depth knowledge of sports facility design and construction processes.
  7. Ability to travel nationally as required.
