Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Equine Sports Medicine Veterinarian to join our distinguished team. This role requires extensive expertise in equine gait evaluation, advanced imaging, orthopedic therapies, podiatry, diagnostics, and therapeutics. As a Sport Horse Veterinarian with Miller & Associates, you will work closely with some of the industry's top professionals and equine athletes, providing state-of-the-art care to elite show horses.

Key Responsibilities:

* Elite Show Horse Care: Provide expert care for high-performance sport horses, ensuring their health and competitive edge.

* Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as MRI, CT, and Scintigraphy to diagnose and treat lameness and other performance issues.

* Orthopedic and Therapeutic Expertise: Implement cutting-edge orthopedic therapies and podiatry solutions to support equine athletes' performance and longevity.

* Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside a network of veterinary specialists, including Board-Certified Surgeons, Ophthalmologists, and Internists, to deliver comprehensive care.

* Client Communication: Engage with clients to discuss diagnostic findings, treatment plans, and preventive care, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and trust.

* Extensive Travel: Participate in extensive travel, including a six-month assignment in Wellington, Florida, to support our clients and their horses on the road.

Qualifications:

* Educational Requirements: DVM or VMD degree required. Veterinary internship experience is preferred; however, exceptional candidates with extensive equestrian backgrounds will be considered.

* International Candidates: Welcoming international applicants from AVMA-accredited schools or those who have successfully completed the ECFVG.

* Passion for Equine Sports Medicine: A strong dedication to equine sports medicine, with a focus on lameness diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
