EDGE Sports Global LLC, in partnership with ASM Global LLC, is the fastest growing sports facility development and operations company in New England with a portfolio of eleven facilities, over a half dozen programs, tournaments, events and services across ice hockey, swimming, and field sports such as soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. In calendar year 2024, it is anticipated that EDGE will have hosted over 1,500,000 youth athletes and their families at our New England facilities.
Edge Sports Group (EOG) is looking for a Human Resource Manager with experience in HR/ employee recruitment, and a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process weekly & bi-weekly payroll for employees using iSolved software.
- Improve and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees, using iSolved.
- Keep track and manage of all employees' approved vacation/sick time off for allotted days per employee tenure in iSolved.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in iSolved.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Recruit and select the best-qualified employees for the company.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy that are fair and equitable for all employees.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and make recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Manage the annual Performance Appraisals and Management by Objectives.
- Coordinate employee recognition and relations programs and events.
- Recommend innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency and efficacy of the department.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping abreast of existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide tools for managers to ensure consistent recruitment and hiring practices.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys.
- Prepare HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and termination notices.
- Regularly update and manage employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits; make recommendation of benefit programs to management.
- Keep track of and maintain all leaves of absence and workers comp claims.
- Post all Federal/State Laws and OSHA information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Daily filing.
- Help to organize various company activities.
- Additional duties not listed above that management deems necessary for this position.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Five - seven years of related experience required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM -SCP Preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of business office applications and systems.
- Knowledge of report writing applications, including Crystal Reports, etc.
- Must have communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to translate non-technical needs communication into technical development capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of wireless technology applications and interface availability.
- Working knowledge of Palm OS, Windows CE, and Blackberry capabilities and support.
- Proficiency in Windows XP support.
- Proficiency in Novell network and Windows NT support.
- Extreme proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

This position requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times and may need to travel from time to time to other facilities.
This position will be on-site and located in Wellesley, MA.
Competitive salary, ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
