Benefits: Part-Time • Competitive 401(k) – up to 4% match • Sick Time • Flexible Schedule between Mondays and Thursdays Responsibilities: • Capture x-rays and intraoral photos for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Record dental charts and assign accurate codes for proper documentation Create and present personalized treatment plans to patients for their oral health needs Work closely with the Dentist to discuss treatment options and provide assistance as needed Perform customized hygiene procedures like prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance based on individual patient diagnoses • Sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment for patient care • Coordinate patient appointments efficiently to optimize the schedule • Educate patients on recommended treatments and proper dental hygiene practices • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols for patient and staff safety • Handle administrative duties such as answering calls, coordinating with labs, and following up with patients • Accurately document and safeguard Patient Health Information • Collaborate effectively with other team members for seamless patient care Qualifications: • The candidate must have completed an Associate’s degree from an ADA Accredited Dental Hygiene Program • A valid state licensure is required for this position • Current CPR/BLS certification is mandatory. Can support obtaining if necessary • Proficiency in utilizing dental patient management software like Open Dental or Dentrix is essential • Strong teamwork and communication skills are a must • The ability to multitask effectively is required • Attention to detail is crucial for this role • The candidate should demonstrate adaptability in various situations Compensation: $48 - $50 hourly
