Simply Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics of Nashua has an opening for a full time Dental Hygienist. The Dental Hygienist provides exceptional patient care from infants to dentistry for teens. We are a leader in clinical care and employ a wonderful team of dental professionals that are committed to the care of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Collect medical and dental histories from patients
• Chart dental conditions based on dentists' observations and evaluations
• Sterilize dental instruments and tools
• Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
• Expose radiographs
• Provide any chair side assistance as necessary for routine hygiene visits
• Deep Scaling
• Anesthesia license (preferred, not required)
• Calling patients for overdue recare
• Stocking treatment areas and taking inventory
• Providing patient care and support
• Polish, floss and fluoride as needed
• Sealant application
• Updating patient record and exam notes

• Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Open Dental for medical documentation and record keeping
• Knowledge of dental office procedures and practices
• Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans
• Attention to detail to accurately assess patient conditions and document findings
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
