About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Telemetry Nurse to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. In this role, you will work within a fast-paced Cardiovascular Unit, serving cardiac and neuro patients, with responsibilities including bedside monitoring, administering cardiac drips, and managing post-heart catheter patients. You will be pivotal in ensuring the highest level of care and coordination among the healthcare team, helping to assess patient needs and discharge planning.

This is a contract position for 3 months, requiring onsite work. The position offers a 12-hour shift, three days per week, from 18:45 to 07:15, totaling 36 hours per week.

What youll be doing:

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Carry out physician and nursing orders
• Facilitate and coordinate patient discharge planning

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Telemetry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Work authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
