JOB SUMMARY:

Join our dedicated and innovative team at ARTisan Skin and Laser Center and ART Vision! We are seeking a Full-Time PA or RN to provide exceptional care in both medical aesthetics and refractive & ocular surgery. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment under the supervision of Dr. Alison R. Tendler.

You will split your time between ARTisan Skin and Laser Center and ART Vision. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, exudes positivity, and is eager to learn in a fast-paced medical setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Medical Aesthetics (ARTisan Skin and Laser Center):

• Administer cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulator injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and light-based therapies (e.g., BBL Hero).
• Perform patient consultations to assess skin care needs, recommend treatments, and provide education on options and post-care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aesthetic treatments, trends, and technology to deliver the highest level of care.

Refractive and Oculoplastic Surgery Assistant (ART Vision):

• Assist with patient preparation, care, and follow-up for surgical procedures, including LASIK, Refractive Lens Exchange, Cataracts, Eyelid surgery, etc.
• Support surgical workflows, including patient education, preoperative and postoperative care, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain a high standard of safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited PA or RN program.
• Active license in the State of South Dakota. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• At least one year of clinical experience in a medical aesthetic setting is desirable.
• Strong interest in aesthetics and refractive surgery; previous experience in these areas is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient-centered care.
