Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to work in an intermediate care setting, providing essential care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patients' conditions are managed efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure quality and timely care
• Record and communicate patient conditions, ensuring all changes are documented
• Serve as the primary coordinator of care, ensuring seamless collaboration between disciplines
• Follow physician and nursing orders, ensuring they are executed accurately
• Assist with discharge planning, working closely with the healthcare team to meet patient needs

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of RN PCU experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
• Two professional references
