Overview

We are looking for an Executive Director Specialist RN. You will serve as the administrator on call and are responsible for the overall operation at the local office, employment of qualified Hospice personnel, and provision of Hospice services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain standards of high quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  2. Implement and evaluate goals and objectives for Hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
  3. Maintain compliance with all legal rules and regulations.
  4. Meet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance and allegiance throughout the local service area.

About You

  1. This position is for a person willing to travel to different locations within the region and is responsible for establishing and implementing goals for hospice services and driving the operation of the facility.
  2. Manage budgets and ensure that organizational goals align with conscientious, humane care of patients while complying with all federal and state guidelines.
  3. Knowledge of hospice operations, state and federal regulations, and compliance.
  4. Strong regulatory affairs and governance requirements for healthcare.
  5. Thorough knowledge of state and local guidelines that govern regulatory processes for healthcare.
  6. Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the region.
  7. Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement.
  8. Experience in health care sales and/or management with P&L responsibility.
  9. 3-5 years sales or management experience preferably in a Hospice or Healthcare environment.
  10. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience and knowledge.
  11. Confident to work independently.
  12. Ability to communicate clearly.
  13. Shares information with the team to improve overall team performance.
  14. Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills.
  15. Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications.
  16. Quick to learn and apply new knowledge.
  17. Effectively processes and integrates time-sensitive information from multiple sources.
