Overview

We are looking for an Executive Director Specialist RN supporting our branches throughout North and South Carolina. You will serve as the administrator on call and are responsible for the overall operation at the local office, employment of qualified Hospice personnel, and provision of Hospice services.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Be a Registered Nurse (RN)
  2. Reside or plan to reside in North Carolina or South Carolina
  3. Have a minimum of 3 years of recent hospice management experience
  4. Be available for 100% travel throughout North Carolina

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain standards of high quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  2. Implement and evaluate goals and objectives for Hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.
  3. Maintain compliance with all legal rules and regulations.
  4. Meet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance and allegiance throughout the local service area.

About You

  1. Willing to travel to different locations within the region
  2. Responsible for establishing and implementing goals for hospice services
  3. Drive the operation of the facility
  4. Manage budgets and ensure that organizational goals are in keeping with conscientious, humane care of patients while complying with all federal and state guidelines.
  5. Knowledge of hospice operations, state and federal regulations and compliance with a minimum of 3 years of hospice leadership experience
  6. Strong regulatory affairs and governance requirements for healthcare
  7. Thorough knowledge of state and local guidelines that govern regulatory processes for healthcare
  8. Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the region
  9. Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement
  10. Experience in health care sales and/or management with P&L responsibility
  11. 3-5 years sales or management experience preferably in a Hospice or Healthcare environment
  12. Bachelors degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience and knowledge
  13. Confident to work independently
  14. Ability to communicate clearly
  15. Shares information with team to improve overall team performance
  16. Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills
  17. Very comfortable working with multiple online and computer applications
  18. Quick to learn and apply new knowledge
  19. Effectively processes and integrates time-sensitive information from multiple sources
