Inova Cornwall Campus - Freestanding Emergency Department - Seeking a RN Unit Supervisor - Full Time Nights - 7PM-7AM with weekend rotation. This role is eligible for sign on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible applicants.

Emergency Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Front line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to Quality and Best Practices to improve clinical operation of the unit.

Emergency Supervisor Requirements:

• Requires at least one year of Registered Nurse Clinical experience.
• Preferred candidate will have ED experience with Peds & Adult Patient population, with experience as charge or supervisory responsibilities.
• Associate Degree RNs within one year of completing their BSN BSN or MSN preferred.
• Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days.
• BLS required.
• Specialty certification (as required by unit) within 1 year of hire. Strongly prefer current ACLS and PALS.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention.
• Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations.
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit.
