* Starting Pay Rate: $21.63per hour + $1 per hour as shift differential - Paid Weekly

Responsibilities

Quality Auditor - Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Adhere to Safety Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulations

* Adhere to PTVE HR Policies and Procedures

* Proficient in plant product testing methods with the requirement to train QC Inspectors

* Proficient in evaluation, maintenance, and repairs of the testing equipment

* Evaluate test results and inspection reports, perform follow-ups with QC Inspectors and Operators

* Report on relevant quality metrics, highlight trends and communicate to supervisors

* Ensure appropriate decisions are made regarding the quality characteristics of products, materials, and testing equipment

* Collect data related to internal product nonconformities including packaging materials. Communicate results with affected departments

* Coordinate, perform, and lead inspections of suspect products in warehouses, including reporting results to Quality Manager

* Coordinates 3rd party product testing and customer sample requests

* Coach QC Inspectors and Operational team regarding Product Safety, GMP, 3rd party audits

* Active participation/ assistance during New Product Development trials

* Proficient in Maintenance Work Order entry

* Deliver product characteristics training for New Hire Employees

* Schedules, plans, and performs assigned and delegated tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

* Contribute to the plant Quality and Process improvement initiatives, including PEPS

* Active participation in Monthly GMP audits, trained as an Internal Auditor (various types of audits)

Education and Experience:

* HS Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience 3-5 years of experience in quality function within a manufacturing environment

* Good written, verbal, mathematical, basic metrology, and analytical skills

* Must be diligent, accurate, and comfortable using Microsoft applications

* Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively

* Maintain the ability to work a flexible schedule across shifts to support various projects

* Bilingual Required - English and Spanish
