Job Summary:

Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of an Experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our Provo, Utah location.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of our manufacturing facilities and machinery to maximize performance.

This role will report to the Chief Engineer. Hours are 7pm-5:30am Tues-Fri.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general maintenance and repairs, especially production line maintenance.
  • Ensure machinery is operating properly and efficiently.
  • Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
  • Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs
  • Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
  • Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
  • Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
  • Install new equipment/systems.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines; conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Provide support to all departments on facilities-related matters.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Interact and coordinate with all departments.
  • From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
  • Be responsible for your allocated workload and meet all targets as agreed with Supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds; lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must have ability to stand and move around for hours at a time.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
  • High school degree or GED
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing environment, requirements and dynamics.
  • Competent in working with plumbing
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
  • High degree of integrity and honesty


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Related Technical degree


Additional Eligibility Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Position Type

Full-time non-exempt. Four 10-hr shifts.

Work Environment:

The noise level on the production floor can be loud with the machines running. The combined odor of multiple fragrances may affect those with odor-sensitivities and could result in headaches the first couple of days.

Must be able to pass post-offer background check and drug test. Hiring status will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
