What we're looking for

We’re looking for night owls that are friendly, reliable, detail oriented, efficient and safety conscious people to contribute to our team and be great co-workers. Night shift pay starts at $23.11 per hour. Shift hours are from 11pm-7am. $2500 year one hire on bonus opportunity, and take advantage of our profit-sharing program, a $10,000 forgivable housing loan and our ON-SITE HEALTH CLINIC. You can even get paid up to $1000 just for referring your friends!

Machine Operator - Night Shift (11p - 7a)


JOB OBJECTIVE
Operate and maintain packaging machine and scale equipment at Kenny’s Candy & Confections. Bag product into required finished products. Training of all operators, assist training of line staff. Assisting and completing samples, trials, inspections, cleaning's.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties:

  • Operate packaging machine equipment
  • Training Operators and Line
  • Assist in completing samples and trials
  • Perform cleaning inspections
  • Inspect all equipment used for sanitation and food safety
  • Setup equipment for process
  • Retrieve needed formers
  • Report any problems with materials or equipment to the Production Supervisor
  • Enter appropriate information into production data logs
  • Perform all required tests
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning as needed
  • Complete paperwork as require
  • Complete orders by following production schedule and direction from production supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • General mathematical and mechanical ability
  • Experience or training up to 1 month or more
  • Self-motivation
  • Good communication skills
  • Learning, memorizing and executing a sequence of procedures
  • Good hand – eye coordination
  • Willing and able to get along with others
  • Good judgment and reasoning abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to drive forklift and pass certification exam
  • Basic computer skills

PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Lifting up to 80 pounds alone; 120lbs in a team
  • Continuous standing and walking
  • Continuous bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling
  • Frequently climbing and reaching above shoulder level
  • Occasionally squatting
  • Working at times in a hot or cool environment
