CNC Machinist II (Night Shift)

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM- 12:30 AM

Pay Rate: $22-27/hr +1 shift differential

Location: Pearland, TX - 77581

Experience: 5 years of experience preferred.

Position Summary: The Machinist will set-up and operate a CNC Lathe / Mill. The Machinist will implement all data entry systems and processes and will provide daily support for software programming applications

CNC Machinist II Role Qualification:

• The Machinist will set-up and operate a CNC Lathe / Mill
• The Machinist will implement all data entry systems and processes and will provide daily support for software programming applications
• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine tooling applications and servicing
• Works closely with other machinists to provide technical assistance to tooling related issues
• Demonstrate working knowledge of processes necessary to complete all assigned task within the production schedule
• Able to run manual and CNC equipment
• Manufacturing Process Accountabilities
• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine equipment functions and servicing
• Able to perform preventive maintenance as assigned
• Demonstrates working knowledge of the process flow of parts through the manufacturing process
• Displays a solid understanding of programming, editing and offset
• Troubleshoots and resolves routing software issues

CNC Machinist II Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce production parts.
• Produce machined parts to close tolerance dimensions.
• Work efficiently to maintain production levels by operating multiple machines within a work cell.
• Work as a team member to solve problems with machining and production.
• Demonstrate a positive work ethic by sharing knowledge and procedures with co-workers.
• Other duties as needed and assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Comprehends and can explain the operational steps required to complete a job so that a fellow employee may understand it. Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.
• Constant use of hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools.
• Must constantly wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).
