The Role:
The position is responsible for learning, repairing, maintaining, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, machinery, facilities, or properties.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
- Installs, repairs, and maintains highly automated, state of the art machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Locates sources of problems (troubleshooting) by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
- Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
- Creates Work Orders by virtue of the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).
- Assists in training production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Documents all work being performed.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
You bring:
- High school diploma plus preferable additional education, such as an associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field, i.e. industrial maintenance, engineering technology, or facilities management.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of Preventive Maintenance in industrial manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years High Speed Manufacturing/Automation.
- Proficiency and experienced in a CMMS system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and manufacturing safety procedures is required (e.gl, lockout/ tag-out, electrical/ high-voltage, chemical, reading MSDA, incident response procedures).
- Strong working knowledge of reliability, predictive maintenance, 5S and related manufacturing best practices is required.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and highly automated technical equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of (RCM) Reliability Centered Maintenance.
- Knowledge and previous experience with data entry into a CMMS.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
- Skilled in troubleshooting highly automated equipment.
- Motivation to succeed.
- Willingness to learn state of the art equipment.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Language skills: English
