Summary of Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager leads the housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficiency at Sheraton San Diego. In this role, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring that every guest experience reflects our commitment to service excellence.

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience.

Work Hours
  • Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure Housekeeping and Laundry operations meet or exceed 4 Diamond and Sheraton Brand service standards
  • Recruit, select, and retain a best-in-class operations team
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless communication and smooth operations throughout the resort
  • Manage department budgets and expenses, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment needs in partnership with the Director of Housekeeping
  • Oversee the execution of projects as assigned
  • Ensure associates have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to perform their jobs
  • Carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures
  • Train and develop associates on 4 Keys service standards, technical skills, standard operation procedures, and safety standards
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among associates
  • Follow all additional duties assigned by management

Qualifications:
  • Previous Marriott experience preferred
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience required
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment
  • Strong ability to manage teams effectively, with a focus on coaching and mentoring associates
