POSITION SUMMARY
This role ensures a clean, safe, and functional environment for all employees and visitors by performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
•Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned spaces.
•Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and polish surfaces as needed.
•Replenish supplies, such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
•Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures.
•Monitor and report the condition of facilities to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
•Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing minor leaks.
•Identify and report any major repair needs to the Facility Manager.
•Assist with setup and breakdown for company events, meetings, or functions.
•Inspect and maintain basic operational equipment and tools.
•Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
•Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
•Maintain proper storage and labeling of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
•Follow established protocols for handling hazardous materials or emergency scenarios.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or maintenance is a plus.
•Basic understanding of repair tools and equipment.
•Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs., standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in an office setting. There may be occasional tasks to be performed outdoors. Travel between office locations will be required.
