This property is located next to restaurants, brewpubs, B&B Movie Theatre and close to Tomahawk Hills golf course and Shawnee Mission Park.  There is something for everyone! 
 
RHW Hotel Management is looking for a Director of Housekeeping to help lead our dynamic housekeeping team. This is a Full Time Salaried opportunity with a great salary and full benefits.

Purpose
The purpose of the Director of Housekeeping is to facilitate and manage the housekeeping team in order to maintain the guest rooms and public areas of this facility in accordance to brand standards and reflecting the high expectations of our guests and patrons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all rooms are cleaned to Marriott standards
  • Ensure that Public areas are clean and well maintained
  • Maintain inventory of all chemicals and cleaning supplies
  • Maintain inventory of all guest room supplies
  • Inspect all cleaned rooms daily
  • Respond to any and all housekeeping requests by guests or through the work order program
  • Hire / Train / Coach / Counsel / Discipline, and with the approval of the General
  • Manager, Terminate housekeeping department staff
  • Stay within budget
  • Administer Key Control within the Housekeeping department
  • Manage hourly labor schedule in accordance to RHW’s budgeted Minutes per Occupied Room
  • Maintain all logs and records of Marriott and RHW required documentation
  • Interact with and respond to guest questions or concerns
  • Operate department with in RHW budgetary guidelines
  • Available to work on call and accessible via cell phone/radio at all times unless otherwise excused

Requirements
 
  • High School degree (or equivalent) required
  • At least one year experience in a hotel or similar field as a Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Proven ability to lead a team
