CNC Machinist-must have Extensive knowledge of M&G-Codes. Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and be proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various machining tools and instruments to produce high-quality components. Duties Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining processes. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of dimensions. Perform basic programming of CNC machines using software such as SolidWorks. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues. Weld components as necessary, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Use hand tools effectively for assembly and finishing tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of milling machines and machining processes. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes. Ability to program CNC machines; experience with SolidWorks is a plus. Skilled in welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
