3rd Shift Supervisor Job at OmniSource in Fort Wayne

Overview:

Supervise and coordinate activities of Blade Changers, Blade Grinding, and Granulator Production.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all material ran in production / Shredded on 3rd shift
• Daily Production Reports / Downtime Reports / Blade Grinding Reports
• Enforce all Safety Rules, policies, and Procedures
• Enforce all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Supervise employees completion of task related Blade Changing , Blade Grinding, Clean up and Granulator / MTB.
• Interview, train, develop, and schedule employees.
• Back up Supervisors duties on Vacation, leave, etc., all other duties as assigned.
• Ability to operate a Forklift and skid steer.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal skill to communicate with internal and external customers
• Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Advanced Problem-Solving Skills
• Advanced mathematical skills
