3rd Shift Porter Job at Northern Haserot in Bedford

NORTHERN HASEROT “The Midwest's Leading Independent Food-Service Distributor since 1878” is adding to their Sanitation team! 3rdshift Porter openings available for immediate start !

Job Summary

Our sanitation team is responsible for keeping the facility clean to meet FDA/ODA standards.
The hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday 7:30 pm- 4:00 am. 

Responsibilities:

• Sweep aisles
• Clean spills both liquid and dry
• Recoup damages
• Operate single ride on pallet jack.
• Empty trash
• Operate trash compactor
• Wipe down guard rails.
• Other routine daily sanitation and cleaning duties​​ as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long hours.
• Ability to twist and stoop several times in the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work on all temperature zones (Dry Goods, Cooler, Freezer)

Education:

· Highschool diploma or GED is NOT required
