The Job:

As an Electrician Journeyman, you'll be part of our T&O Global Supply Chain team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:

  • Coordinate schedules and follow up on assignments through completion
  • Complete the necessary preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment as scheduled
  • Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules
  • Repair and recondition equipment throughout the facility as required
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation of electrical maintenance activities
  • Operate lift truck, cranes, welders and other equipment to perform maintenance duties
  • Train and develop apprentices as assigned
  • Abide by all OSHA, National Electric Code, and Fire codes
  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures
  • Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Plan and recommend future equipment and facility requirements
  • Perform all tasks assigned by Maintenance Leadership
The Person:

  • State approved Electrical Maintenance Journeyman Card or five years of industrial experience
  • Ability to develop, implement, and improve preventative maintenance measures
  • Experienced programming and troubleshooting PLC's, HMI's, drives, and robotics
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, the National Electric Code, and the Fire Code
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, along with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions both inside and outside
