Hours: 9:30p.m. - 5:30a.m.
Brakebush produces high quality, further processed poultry products. Sanitation employees will work in various locations in the production areas breaking down and cleaning equipment and then putting the equipment back together.
Job Duties:
- Disassemble food-processing equipment, as necessary.
- Clean equipment and overhead areas, using a variety of equipment, including high-pressure hot water hoses, chemicals, foamers, sanitizers, scrubbing equipment, etc.
- Reassemble equipment and prepare for next day food production.
- Frequently bend, lift, climb and twist throughout the work shift.
- Must be comfortable using a ladder and a scissors lift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical, background check and drug test. Very mobile individual, able to stand, walk, climb bend, and kneel for up to 8 hours per day. Must also be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally. Self-motivated, reliable, able to work at heights. Must complete power jack/scissors lift/ high lift, hazard communication and lock out/ tag out training courses.
Working Conditions:High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, high pressure hoses with chemical use, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug testand background check arerequired.
