PAY: $18.75/hr + $1.00 attendance bonus
HOURS: 9:45pm-6:15am (Overtime as needed)
SUMMARY:
The inspector/packer checks the parts for conformance to customer standards. When defects are found they are disposition by the guidelines defined in the work instructions. Conforming product is packed and labeled as specified by the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma or GED required. One to three years of experience in manufacturing is required. Experience in assembly is strongly preferred. Must also possess a working knowledge of using standard operating procedures or experience using work instructions to perform manufacturing tasks.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents and reports. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication in regards to blue prints and reports.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic math, calibrations and statistics.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal amount of sitting and standing, average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer. Required travel will consist of traveling from plant to plant (Fehrer, Supplier, Customer), including international travel may be required.

- Check parts for conformance to customer standards.
- Communicate quality issues to Production supervisor and line lead in a timely manner.
- Identify nonconforming material.
- Approve material for shipment.
- Pack product in designated pack containers
- Stage boxes and roll packs in designated locations
- Print labels
- Apply Labels
- Push product to designated area for pickup
- Fill out daily inspection sheets
- Additional duties as needed and assigned.

- Must be able to bend over racks and check parts.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.

- Works with floor supervisor, shift lead and line leads.
- Communicates with process technicians on process issues.
- Works as a team with all employees in the production area.
