Description
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Under the direction of the Manager of Donor Centers, Assistant Manager of RADE or Process Coordinator, this position is responsible for reviewing donor records and other blood collection documents to ensure compliance with regulations, accuracy, legibility, and completeness. The employee will work to ensure that all discrepancies are identified and appropriate actions initiated to ensure proper management of the blood supply. Enters relevant audit data into the computer database and appropriately holds products to prevent labeling or shipment of unsuitable products.
Provides professional service to, and maintains positive relationships with, all internal and external customers. Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of Carter BloodCare (CBC). Fosters team spirit and collaborative working relationships to ensure maximum operation efficiency and comfortable work environment.
Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours, some overtime may be required.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Education or GED
- Previous phlebotomy, blood banking experience or background in a highly regulated industry preferred
- Computer skills
- Extremely detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform repetitive work accurately and without losing focus
- Excellent communication skills
