Job DescriptionWorks on construction projects, usually working in utility capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require a worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities - Loading and unloading tools or raw materials.
- Proficient at erecting scaffolding or other pieces of equipment.
- Knowledge of the use of air bags for lifting pipes in rack.
- Cuts and strips/install insulation on piping.
- Other related duties may be assigned.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma, preferred, or GED equivalent.Minimum one (1) year directly related experience.Insulation blanket/sewing experience.Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy preferred.Individuals working under this contract will be exposed to and handling Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). As a result, all workers will be part of the medical surveillance program. The company-paid Baseline Asbestos physical includes chest x-ray with B-Reader, PFT, respiratory clearance, and basic physical. Those individuals that have previously worked with asbestos, will be required to have an exit exam from their prior employer before the baseline exam can be conducted by NANA Construction.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situation.
