- Identifying potential customers or clients through networking or online research and contacting them to introduce the company's products or services.
- Making sales calls to prospective clients to determine their needs and interests so that they can be properly targeted with offers.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success.
- Working with management to develop long-term plans for increasing revenue through new sales leads.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service they receive.
- Deliver a consistent, exceptional customer experience every time.
- Experience in the print industry
- A network in the book publishing is a great asset
- Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Knowledge and understanding of print and binding processes beneficial.
- Strong prospecting skills to find new leads.
- Proven skills in building relationships and trust with clients
- Proven strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
