Summary
The Health And Safety Specialist supports the implementation and mantenance of the QHSE program (Quality, Health, & Safety, and Environment) for the U.S. and their local site.
Duties and Responsibilities
For this position, the expected base pay is: $67,000.00 - $84.500.00 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Summary
The Health And Safety Specialist supports the implementation and mantenance of the QHSE program (Quality, Health, & Safety, and Environment) for the U.S. and their local site.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementation of the DSV QHSE program within the U.S. supporting branch locations, covering ISO standards ISO9001 Quality, ISO45001 Health & Safety, ISO 14001 Environment
- Conducting audits of the QHSE and PharmaQMS systems and driving improvements within those locations.
- Ability to conduct facility qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Ensure the adherence to corrective and preventive action standards as well as being actively involved in the root cause analysis and agreement of corrective and preventive actions for severe and reoccurring incidents, audit findings, KPI deviations etc.
- Support, documentation and follow up on Internal Audits, QMS/QIS, and Corrective Actions raised from Internal Audits.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Ability to manage document control records defined by DSV
- Creation of local process documentation
- Audit subcontractors
- Organize and execute training and make training material available.
- Ensure risks & opportunities are identified within the quality function.
- Assist with special projects or assignments, as requested
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, or business field preferred
- 3-5 years of industry-related experience
- 2+ years leadership and/or project management experience
- Experienced quality auditor
- Knowledge of ISO9000, ISO45000 standards
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Transportation & logistics industry experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control)
- Network and relationship building and high level of influencing people skills
