2nd SHIFT; 2:00pm - 10:00pm; Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:

1. Accurately receive finished goods from production using scan gun and properly store them in warehouse locations.

2. Verify correct stack pattern and count on pallets from production versus product specification and count on pallet tag.

3. Print and complete pick bay replenishment report from warehouse management system (IFS)

4. Manage short list from production, notify shipping coordinator when items arrive. Notify shift coordinator of anything that is short.

5. Cycle count items daily based on an ABC class and report counts to the inventory control coordinator and assist with monthly inventories ensuring correct products and amounts.

6. Properly label, load, and unload the auto-wrapper and organize pallets that have been approved for shipment.

7. Assist with loading outbound shipments and accurately fill out the daily Carrier Logs.

8. Assist with pulling full pallets from storage for outbound shipments using first in first out methods to ensure proper product rotation.

9. Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean department and work environment.

10. Be familiar with and follow safety rules and procedures including safety wear and emergency procedures.

11. Assist with the training of new personnel

12. Mandatory overtime may be required to meet shipping deadlines

13. Operate forklift according to safety protocol, fill out equipment checklist and notify supervisor of any mechanical issues

14. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in a warehouse environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The ability to multi-task is very important. Attention to detail and accuracy, along with basic math skills and good organizational skills are required. Good verbal communication skills are essential.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED: Forklift, pallet-jacks (manual and electric), loading dock lifts and doors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally /100 pounds rarely is required.
