Schedule: Varies (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Every 3rd Saturday (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in Mauston, WI for a 13-week contract. If you are an experienced pharmacist looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a significant impact on patient care, this position offers the opportunity to do so in a retail pharmacy setting.

As a Retail Pharmacist, you will ensure that medications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely and legally. Youll provide essential services, including prescription filling, counseling, clinical pharmacy services, and inventory management, while supervising pharmacy interns and technicians. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality patient care in a retail setting.

• Dispense medications safely and accurately while providing consultations to patients.
• Administer vaccines and offer drug information and education to patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Perform pharmaceutical pounding and oversee inventory control activities.
• Collect medical histories, provide therapeutic drug monitoring, and offer pharmacokinetic dosing consultations.
• Follow Medicare Accreditation policies and procedures.
• Input, process, and correct prescriptions as needed.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy and home health aids preferred.
• Strong munication skills to counsel patients effectively.
• Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy interns and technicians.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including every third Saturday.
