Job Title: Bank Teller

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our dynamic banking team. The Bank Teller will be responsible for performing a variety of financial transactions which includes, cash handling, check processing, and record keeping of deposits and withdrawals in a professional and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers and assisting them in their banking transactions, addressing their inquiries efficiently and effectively.
• Handling cash transactions like making deposits, withdrawals, loan repayments, issuing checks, and selling monetary instruments such as money orders and cashier's checks.
• Meeting customer needs by suggesting suitable banking products and services.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and keeping up with changes in bank policies.
• Recording all transactions accurately and balancing cash drawer at the end of each day.

Opening and closing bank accounts and performing various administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, a degree in finance or a related field is a plus.
2. At least one year of banking or cash handling experience is preferred.
3. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Knowledge of banking processes and regulations.
6. The ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
7. Strong computer and clerical skills.
