General Description:

The Retail Associate will be responsible for picking and packing Client orders. Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  1. Receives verbal instructions from manager.
  2. Match labels to Packing Slips.
  3. Obtains product from racking, pallets, bins, or shelves.
  4. Picks/counts customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked.
  5. Inspect products for defects and damages.
  6. Pack product according to customer orders, ensuring attention to detail.
  7. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.


Schedule: Tues-Sat 8:00AM-4:30PM

Pay: $18.54/hr

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, supplemental insurance.

Opening length: Until filled

Requirements:

Job Qualifications Mandatory:

  1. Attention to detail.
  2. Dexterity – must be able to use tape gun and/or tape machine.
  3. Strong warehouse background.
  4. Able to stand and/or walk up to 10 hours a day.
  5. Able to demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving.
  6. High level of energy and drive to work with the warehouse employees.
  7. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.
  8. Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
  2. Simple Math – Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing.?
  3. High school diploma required; one year of related experience in shipping and receiving.
  4. Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  6. Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
  7. Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
  8. Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office, and communicating effectively via email and phone frequently required.
