Soliant is hiring: Retail Pharmacist Lake Isabella, CA in Lake Isabella

Join Soliant in providing exceptional pharmacy services to the Lake Isabella munity. We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week contract starting December 16, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting while earning a petitive hourly rate.

Position Details:

• Start Date: December 16
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (9 AM - 6 PM)
• Setting: Retail Pharmacy (includes Skilled Nursing Facility prescriptions)
• EMR: CPSI/Evident
• No Weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately, including those for Skilled Nursing Facilities, while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth workflow and accurate billing practices.
• Counsel patients on medication usage and answer any questions to enhance their understanding of their prescriptions.
• Maintain meticulous records for controlled substances, inventory, and prescriptions in pliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) in onboarding new services and munity initiatives, embracing challenges with enthusiasm.

Qualifications & Skills:

• California Pharmacy License (current and valid).
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Strong munication skillsboth written and verbal.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, passion, and empathy in patient interactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PrimeCare (QS1) is a plus.
