Job Summary: MGA Entertainment is in search of a Data Analyst with a passion for numbers and a love for toys to help drive the success of our paid media campaigns. As a Data Analyst for the MGA Media team, you will play a key role in analyzing the performance of paid media efforts (such as digital advertising, social media, retail media, influencers, programmatic & display ads, etc.) to provide actionable insights that will improve ROI and consumer engagement. You will work closely with Brand marketing, Creative Services, and Synergy teams to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and recommend strategies for optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze and interpret key metrics from paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

Develop and maintain regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting trends, ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Create customized dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate campaign results and insights to stakeholders.
• Campaign Performance Monitoring:

Track and evaluate the success of campaigns in real-time, providing insights and recommendations to optimize budget allocation and creative strategies.

Assist Media Buyers with A/B testing to determine the most effective messaging, targeting, and bidding strategies for different ad units and platforms.
• Trend Identification & Market Insights:

Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights on paid media performance and consumer preferences.

Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to suggest new approaches for improving campaign performance.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

Partner with media planner/buyers, brand marketing teams, and franchise teams to align campaign objectives and ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.

Assist with the development of data-driven strategies that improve overall media efficiency and drive customer purchase intent and/or conversions.
• Continuous Improvement:

Continuously improve analytics processes, tools, and reporting methods.

Stay current with new media platforms, tools, and analytical techniques that could enhance campaign tracking and performance evaluation.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis, preferably in digital marketing on the brand or agency side. Experience in the toy industry is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in analytics and data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, with experience in data manipulation and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (theTradeDesk, Google/YouTube Ads, Meta for Business, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.) and the ability to interpret campaign data from these platforms.
• Solid understanding of key performance metrics (i.e. ROAS, VTR, CPV, CTR, CPA), attribution, and conversion tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to work across brands and various internal teams.
• A passion for the toy industry, children's products, or entertainment marketing is a plus!

Salary:

$110,000.00 - 140,000.00 /year
