We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant who will assist us during the upcoming tax season. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm on-site at our Charleston office.

Essential Functions:

This Receptionist position is responsible for supporting the Office Manager with the multitude of administrative tasks that are required at a busy professional services firm. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Oversee the phones and transferring calls
  • Manage client traffic
  • Assist with billing, payment processing, A/R
  • Coordinate shipping/receiving all packages through FedEx, UPS, courier service and regular mail, and distribute to employees
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of office and kitchen area including supplies
  • Manage office supplies including daily restock and maintenance of coffee, drinks and snacks.
  • Participate in the cross-training of all admin functions across departments
  • Collaborate with others on work on projects/tasks outside of their "usual" assignments.

Qualifications:
  • Solid 3 years or more of customer service and general office experience
  • Managing phones, filing of paperwork, scanning, faxing, emailing documents, postal mail, etc.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor and communications (written and verbal)
  • Moderate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
  • Working Knowledge of RightSignature and sending e-documents to clients by email
  • Ability to work full-time 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday and overtime as needed during seasonal deadlines.
  • Strong comfort level with technology and learning new programs
