Our client, a fortune 100 financial services firm is seeking a Receptionist for their NYC location.? Must be bilingual Chinese.??
Type: Perm
Salary: $55K-$65K?
Location: Midtown, NYC (5 days a week on site)?
Job Summary
Provide administrative support across the organization and to Branch Senior Management. Greet and welcome guests. Coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Key Responsibilities
•Greet and welcome guests, direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
•Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
•Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
•Maintain office security by following safety procedures.
•Support office operations; manage all activities related to the maintenance of the facilities, office equipment and systems; liaise with
building maintenance and outside repair personnel.
•Update calendars and schedule meetings.
•Coordinate to arrange ad-hoc projects, event committees, reception, Branch marketing events and corporate culture events and activities.
•Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying and transcribing.
•Order stationery, office and pantry supplies, arrange food deliveries for office events.
•Prepare and assist in the departmental vendor review and management.
•Provide secretarial support to Senior Management, including providing confidential translation, arranging business trip logistics, managing
itinerary, and complete routine Accounting and Financial matters as requested by Branch Management etc.
•Provide other duties as assigned by Senior Management and Head of Administration
•Successfully complete the Branch's mandatory annual BSA/AML and OFAC training
Capability and Experience Requirements
•Bilingual in Chinese is a must to communicate with Head Office.
•Bachelor's Degree required.?
• ? 1+ year of experience in a similar setting? (International Banking exp preferred)
•Good organizational and communication skills, flexible and adaptable.
•High attention to detail, ability to foresee needs.
•Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
•Keen sense of judgment with business orientation.
• ? Customer will not sponsor?
