Lambert Lumber, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking outgoing and motivated Customer Service - Floor Sales Team Member candidates for our location in Cooper, Texas!

What Does a Sales/Customer Service Team Member Do?

  • Provides exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, greeting and thanking them, and assisting with their needs
  • Provide personalized assistance to customers in selecting hardware products and lumber
  • Actively engage with customers to upsell related items and promote special offers
  • Answers phone calls in a polite and timely manner, addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance
  • Highlights Do It Best reward program to customers, encouraging their participation to foster customer loyalty
  • Follows company standards and procedures to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations
  • Continuously seeks product and project knowledge to better assist customers and identify unique selling opportunities
  • Resolves customer issues with the support and guidance of management
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Performs any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Sales/Customer Service Team Member?

  • Proficiency in using computers and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Proven experience in hardware/lumber sales, retail, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hardware products, applications, and troubleshooting techniques desired
  • Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds, as well as perform tasks like bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the work shift
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business
