We are seeking an HRIS Administrator to join our growing team. You will be a self-starter who is creative, technical, and a strong people person. This role will require a blend of strong analytical and administrative skills. This role is mostly remote, but onsite may be required on the days new hires are onboarded. You must be located within commutable distance to Redwood City, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HRIS Administration:
    • Maintain and update the HRIS system to ensure accuracy of employee data, records, and reporting.
    • Manage workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes within the system.
    • Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and compliance.
  2. Light Payroll Administration:
    • Work with PEO partner to approve weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of submissions.
    • Handle payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.
  3. Benefits & 401(k) Administration:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and other programs.
    • Enroll new employees in benefits programs and manage changes or terminations.
    • Assist with annual benefits renewals and open enrollment processes.
  4. Recruiting Assistant:
    • Post job openings on various platforms and manage candidate tracking within the ATS.
    • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
    • Support onboarding efforts by preparing new hire documents and assisting with orientation.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS administration, payroll, and benefits management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience assisting with recruiting activities or familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Compensation: $35 - $40 an hour
